Shops in Cordoba, Spain

Cordoba provides you with modern and traditional goods. The City Center has department stores, boutiques and specialty shops that offer products at good prices. Traditional products such as silver filigree works and leather working are to be found in street markets and small shops in the old quarter, the Mezquita and the Jewish quarter.

The main areas for shopping are at the Plaza de las Tendillas – on the Conde de Gondomar and the Jose Cruz Conde. Also at the Avenida de Gran Capitan and Ronda de los Tejares. There are also some silver filigree shops around the Mezquita and the Jewish Quarter and leather products at the Calleja de las Flores. For gifts and souvenirs, go to the Jewish Quarter – at DEanes, Romero and Torrijos.

  This is where you go for the best embossed leather products – attaché cases, jewelry boxes, book covers, and so forth. Open Mondays to Fridays at 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays at 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• Adelfa Campos (Velázquez Bosco, 8)
  Great porcelain and gift items.
• Artesania Andaluza (Calle Tomás Conde, 3)
  Classic Cordoban crafts – silver filigree and fine embossed leather.
• Artesania Los Patios (Near Mezquita)
  Here you can buy locally made ceramics – plates, bowls, clocks, what have you. Prices are pretty decent.
• Boxes (Avenida Libia, 57)
  For excellent boxes – hat boxes, gift boxes, and so on.
• Sukia (Cuesta Luján, 4)
  If it’s kitsch you want, you’ll get it here.
  

Opening Hours: The large department stores and shopping centers open from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The traditional shops open from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 5:00 to 8:30 p.m.

Taxes: Non-EU residents may avail of tax-free purchases – Value Added Tax (VAT) for purchases of more than €90.15 will be applied for reimbursement.
